So I went to the my local phone AT&T store to investigate. I discovered a long line on Sunday morning regarding people wanting to order the new I phone 6. I wanted to say, "didn't they hear about the bendgate?" I then watched and listen and I was discovered most of the people that I spoke to, were ordering the plan I Phone 6 not the I Phone 6S. They too had heard about the bending. The one of the customer I spoke with was trying to put it in his front and back pocket to see what was more comfortable. Wonder if Apple would want my micro survey of customers in Willoughby?
I am often surprised at how many people run out and jump on a new product. I having the little science background; have always felt that the new products haven't been tested enough, so basically you are their test market. I didn't run out and update my phone when the new IOS 8 came out or I didn't order the new I Phone 6, actually I just got my daughter's old I Phone 5S instead and will wait to update my phone after all the bugs are worked out.
Besides answering my initial questions; my questions are wide and varied this week. Why do you think consumers need to buy the latest gadget as soon as it comes out? Do you think Apple really could have made such a big mistake with their launch? Do you think that someone within Apple said "Hey guys, this phone is very thin and the larger area and the light weight make it very easy to bend?" or do you think Apple was tied into a dated and just went forwarded?
How do you see Apple making this better? Do you plan on updating you phone or IOS? or have you and why?
It seems lately that with all of big businesses problems (GM recalls, I Phones, Food Recalls, etc) it seems that testing has gone by the wayside just for profits.
I noticed the more "experienced" I have gotten, my purchasing of big tickets items have become more harder because I research so much more now.
