The Time article reviews the traits to be successful in business but I also believe that successful traits are as relevant to educational arena.
That got me to thinking about what I viewed as the most successful trait of general success. My personal goal to success wasn't listed on Jeffrey Pfeffer list.
I really believe that resilience is the key to success not only in education but in life. Basically it is getting back up after failure. I believe more you struggle and keep trying (effort) the more you learn. That not only in education but in life.
I asked my husband, who happens to supervises and works with a large group, what makes individual successful and he believes hards work. Nobody beat hard work; basically effort.
Call it what you may (Resilience, hard work) but effort is the key in any area of success.
