Okay now lets look at today phenomena of technologies and especially the addiction of technologies, meaning cell phones, computers, tablets any device that can take you to social world of the internet and beyond.
Many studies and surveys are coming out and revealing that our sheer amount of time on these "devices" are just crazy high. Example --> Headline: We spend more time on our phone their with our significant others. Don't believe me -- > http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2333261/We-spend-MORE-time-phones-partner.html This article states we only spend only a little more than 2 hours on the phone daily. Not soo bad but if you couple that with the other mobile devices; other data suggests -- > http://adage.com/article/digital/americans-spend-time-digital-devices-tv/243414/
Here is a scholarly paper on it -- >http://m.metapress.com/content/b288753537587502/fulltext.pdf?subprofileid=96
Here is another piece of information this time from NPR regarding parents and child --> http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2014/04/21/304196338/for-the-childrens-sake-put-down-that-smartphone
This is getting crazy and how does this have anything to do with Newton's Third Law?
So what does that all mean, isn't Newton right, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So when you aren't paying attention to your significant others, (meaning parent, boyfriends, girlfriends, teachers, each other) you are sending a message "hey this is more important". Eventually the world notices; N3L kicks in. When you want the attention or have a need from someone or something maybe they are too engrossed in their devices to stop and give you what you need. When you spend more time on your mobile devices than school work. N3L kicks; grades drop.
You spend more time on mobile devices creeping on other peoples lives than living your own life. You end up spending more time alone. N3L
When you don't have the science background that you have; some people called that Karma.
The mechanical world of Newton meeting the everyday world of you.
Questions: Do you find that your own ability to live in the moment without the aid of technology is possible? Can you say go 10 minutes without any outside influence? When is the last time that your spent 24 hours with being connected? Could you go without a computer, mobile device, internet and social media, gaming for 24 hours?
We know Newton's Laws are proven in the mechanical world; does his law carry over to the non-mechanical world of life? Can your positive actions bring on other positive actions? Does negative actions bring on negative actions?
